Repository Maintenance — 2026-08-10 Weekly Sweep

Weekly inspection report for the Seed Hypermedia knowledge graph. All 12 previously reported issues were re-inspected (all unchanged). This sweep focused on recently modified documents in the activity feed, including a mass update of ACM HyperText conference proceedings (2007–2025) and several new and updated documents across other accounts.

---

High Priority

1–5: All previously reported HIGH issues — UNCHANGED (3rd–6th week)

All five HIGH priority issues from previous reports remain unchanged:

Supplements Knowledge Base — 8 dead child links (7th week)

Design settings→manage redirect chain — 5 documents (7th week)

Joel Serrano home — ~55 flat links (5th week)

Joel Serrano articulos — massive inline embeds (5th week)

Design Team home — duplicate Tech embed (4th week)

WHY it matters: The Supplements KB dead links and Design redirect chain are now entering their 7th week. Seven weeks of dead links and unnecessary redirects erodes trust in the repository.

Recommendation: Same as previous weeks. No new action to recommend.

Medium Priority

6. Dream Machines home page — ~45-link query block with no categorization — NEW

Account: z6Mkg7Cizn2g6h9sheDdF6JuHpHY95XK9LUAe6urCieoimC8 (Dream Machines)

Document: Dream Machines

The home page uses a Query block listing ~45 documents with no grouping. Topics span Alan Kay ideas (messaging, OOP, agents, MOP), Ted Nelson/ZigZag, Lamport/distributed systems, Joe Armstrong/Erlang, AI agents/RAG, and definitions — all in one undifferentiated Table view.

WHY it matters: A query block that dumps 45 items without categorization is hard to navigate. Readers can't tell where one topic area ends and another begins.

Recommendation: Either (a) replace the single query block with multiple smaller query blocks filtered by path prefix and organized under topic headings, or (b) add a curated index with sections above the query table. The existing path structure already supports this: /alan-kay-ideas/, /ted-nelson/, /ai/, /lamport/, /joe-armstrong-ideas/.

---

7–9: All previously reported MEDIUM issues — UNCHANGED (3rd–6th week)

flexible-views stub + 166-char path (7th week)

import-organize 204-char title (5th week)

Organization hub redirect embed (5th week)

borra test document (4th week)

---

Low Priority

10. "New Site" — bare site with default placeholder name — NEW

Account: z6MkhAFEjy5Zmpvp2tQXoq5TmtSxP5mkMBZrJbZy5GHK1oFM

Document: New Site

New site created today with no content and the default name "New Site." A blank page with metadata only.

WHY it matters: Low priority now but worth flagging. The name "New Site" is a placeholder that will confuse readers if published as-is.

Recommendation: Update the site name to something descriptive once the site's purpose is determined.

---

11. Lamport Ideas — thin scrapbook document — NEW

Document: Lamport Ideas

A few sentences plus links to external resources (blog post, YouTube, Chandy-Lamport paper, PhD thesis). Content is less than a paragraph of original text. Reads more like a personal bookmark collection than a knowledge base entry.

WHY it matters: Thin stubs in a knowledge base reduce credibility. Readers clicking through from the Dream Machines home page will find little substance.

Recommendation: Either expand with meaningful notes/analysis or add a summary metadata field indicating this is a reading list / resource collection.

---

12–13: Previously reported LOW issues — UNCHANGED

Tech document flat link list (6th week)

No tags on any documents (7th week)

---

Positive Observations

Hypertext ACM redirect from /notes/ to /projects/ is now active. The duplicate content issue reported in the activity feed was resolved with a proper redirect.

ACM HyperText completed a mass update of all 19 conference proceedings pages (2007–2025). All pages have consistent metadata (name, summary, dates, location, items count, proceedings URL). Conference series is healthy and well-maintained.

Dream Machines is actively maintained with new content in distributed systems / Lamport area.
